About
I'm Kim Foster — a decade-long corporate B2B marketing veteran (Orca Security, Open Raven, Indeed, Ziften) who traded the tech world for Oregon's Wild Rivers Coast. I live in Port Orford. I know the people in the photos. I understand TLT law and Oregon tourism regulatory frameworks.
Wilderwind exists because I kept seeing the same problem: small DMOs spending limited budgets on generic content that AI was already making obsolete. The solution isn't more content — it's content so specific and verifiable that AI tools have to cite it as a source rather than replace it.
When I'm not behind a camera or in a spreadsheet, I serve as a director for Port Orford Main Street, secretary of the South Coast Watershed Council, and treasurer of the Port Orford Rural Fire District. This is my community, not just my market.
